#5 War For The Planet Of The Apes (2017)

Once again, no animals were harmed during the shooting of the movie – and even P.E.T.A. showed support by stating that the it “proves that computer-generated imagery, or CGI, has no limits, offering powerful anti-captivity, pro-animal rights messages along the way.”

Most of this 2010 movie directed by Tim Burton was created using CGI technology. So much of it, in fact, that people even started saying that the creators overused it.

Sadly, neither Hugo Weaving nor Keanu Reeves knows how to fly or stop bullets – it’s all green screens and lots of suspending cables.

No noses were harmed in the creating of the Harry Potter series! Voldemort’s iconic nose (or lack of it, thereof) was created using impressive makeup and CGI.

Many people were praising Avengers: Infinity War (2018) for its creative use of computer-generated imagery – and it’s not hard to see why.

No rocket-propelled brooms here – just a green screen and a handful of talented programmers.
