What if you could see the world from beneath your cat’s paws or your dog’s belly? Lithuanian photographer Andrius Burba decided to explore exactly that perspective, and the result is one of the most creative and visually striking photography series out there. His project , aptly titled “Underlook,” captures animals from below through transparent surfaces, offering a fascinating and often hilarious look at creatures big and small.

The concept is as simple as it is brilliant: place an animal on a glass surface, light it perfectly, and photograph it from underneath. What sounds straightforward turns into a mesmerizing series of portraits where paws, tails, and feathers create delightful patterns. With these photos, Burba literally turns the world upside down, and invites us to see animals as we’ve never seen them before.
