Kid’s Halloween Costume Idea Surprises Parents, And Now Everyone Is Crying
Helping your kid to choose a Halloween outfit can be quite a task, especially when there’s so much to pick from. Imgur user Bethany encountered a similar problem after visiting a couple Halloween stores where her son failed to decide on who he wants to be this year. However, soon she was made really proud by the kids unusual choice – he decided to dress up as his dad.
“Sunday night, I just told him to pick his FAVORITE HERO and I’d make the costume the next day. His eyes lit up and he yelled “Dad!” shared the happy mother. Her partner works long hours at a local restaurant’s kitchen, rarely getting a day off, and always working really hard to support his family – a true working class hero. So, after spending some time working with eyelash glue and black yarn the costume was done and both the parents and the kid couldn’t be more happy with it.
Obviously, the dad was “damn proud of his son, and it was obvious when my son rang every door bell and shouted “TRICK OR TREAT – I’M MY DAD!” to strangers all night that he’s really proud of his dad too.”
Sometimes it’s not the most intricate costume that wins, it’s the one that melts everyone’s hearts.
