No matter how many cars you’ll own throughout your lifetime, the first one will always have a special place in your heart, no matter if it’s a project you’ve been working on forever with your dad or a clunker you bought for the money you saved up from mowing you neighbor’s lawn during the summer. It appears that actor Jason Momoa knows this feeling very well – that’s why he recently decided to completely restore his wife Lisa Bonet’s first car – a 1965 Ford Mustang.
Lisa bought the car when she was just 17 years old and even though the car got pretty beat up over the years, she just never had the heart to get rid of it. For the past 14 years, the car has been quietly rusting away before Jason decided to take it to Divine 1 Customs and have it completely restored – and the look on Lisa’s face when she saw it was entirely worth it.
