From hairdos, beards, and moustaches to clothes, shoes, and accessories – Amit Shimoni didn’t miss any of today’s biggest trends when he reimagined the world’s leaders as hipsters. In his “Hipstory” illustration series, leaders that have faded into the past have been brought as close to us as ever.
“ It is my hope that this series will encourage us to reflect: upon our leaders, our society, and ourselves, ” the artist wrote on boredpanda. “ HIPSTORY wishes not to criticize, but to shed new light on the way we think of ourselves and the figures who inspire us. ”

This Girl Takes Mirror Selfies To The Next Level
Mirrorsme, a young Norwegian instagramer, has certainly altered our perception of mirror selfies. A new Internet starlet has been drawing funny interactive illustration with posca, acrylic and chalk markers on her bathroom mirror for over a year.
The talented illustrator started this amusing hobby by leaving funny mirror notes written and drawn with a lipstick for her roommate. One thing led to another and this nice habit became a full-speed artistic hobby.
“To get my mirror selfies to fit right, it’s kind of funny because some of them really look so weird, especially when I have ‘guests in the mirror’ we just crack up so much, then you have to take a few, ” explains the young artist. “ Normally, it takes less than 30 min to draw, but I can really get lost in the process and enjoy it. “
