Recently hosted by the Cathedral of St. Anthony, Keyi Dai’s ‘God’s Light’ is a series of videos made by a 3d program and cast on different architectural spaces. With the slow movement of invisible light sources, planes in space are revealed. She creates artwork that engages viewers with counterintuitive use of human perception. Her work is driven by her interests in dimensionality, space, light, color, and the texture of surfaces.
