In 1978, while working as a taxi driver in New York City, Matt Weber started capturing beautiful and raw photographs of everyday city life. Surrounded by a whirlwind of striking frames and compositions, the artist-to-be could no longer resist documenting them. He combined his newly found hobby with his day-job, but 6 years later, photography finally conquered his taxi-driver career. He’s been photographing bits of unique city stories for 3 decades now, depicting a wide range of strong emotions. And it’s all wrapped up in a black and white collection – a book titled “Urban Prisoner.”
