Floral Anatomy Illustrations On The Pages Of Old Books
PRRINT is an art shop with sustainability in mind. They’ve made a name for themselves by creating vibrant illustrations on the pages of vintage press, and now they’re taking it a step further by resurrecting discarded books with amazingly detailed floral anatomy illustrations.
The written word becomes a backdrop for the intricate anatomical images enriched with vibrant colors of nature. Surprisingly, the background doesn’t distract from the artwork, on the contrary, it gives the piece even more layers and contexts. The authors chose a rather complex combination, balancing many mediums on a single sheet of paper: from the written word, to hand drawings and to the anatomy of our bodies themselves.
