Created by JP Ahonen, the Belzebubs comics look like your normal family-life illustrations until you notice the attributes you’d normally see in a black metal concert. Pentagrams, black face paint, gothic architecture and reverse crosses are all there. But there’s also a story of just another family dealing with the same routine like the rest of us. A truly interesting glimpse into a subculture that some of us imagine can’t be more different than us.
