Couple Goes To Croatia To Find Game Of Thrones Filming Locations In Real-Life
Barring wardrobe portals, it’s impossible to travel to fantasy worlds. However, you can try and see places where they were filmed, like this Game of Thrones fan. Asta Skujytė-Razmienė took her husband by the hand and went to Croatia. The Red Keep, the stairs to the Great Sept of Baelor, and many other places from Westeros can be found on the streets of Dubrovnik.
“Some places were really easy to find – Dubrovnik, for example, is just like one huge filming set,” Asta Skujytė-Razmienė. “But other spots (like streets in Split) we found either after a looong search or just stumbled upon by an accident. I want to share the result of our “scene hunt” hoping that it will inspire others to do this same!” And there are people doing similar projects: Fan Girl quest travels around the world to filming places from various movies – you can see their adventures here !
