Breathtaking Nature Entries For The National Geographic Photo Contest 2014
The National Geographic Photo Contest – one of the greatest annual photography competitions in the world – has already begun accepting photos for all three of its major categories – Nature, Places, and People. The first-place winners in each of the categories will receive US$2,500 and the Grand prize winner, in addition to taking the first-place prize, will receive US$7,500 and a trip to the National Geographic headquarters in Washington DC for the annual Photography Seminar in Washington DC.
Last year, the National Geographic Photo Contest received more than 7,000 entries from professional and amateur photography enthusiasts from over 150 countries. One major request that the contest asks is “to submit images that accurately reflect the captured moment in time. In other words, keep it real.”
If you wish to participate in the contest yourself, check out the link below for the terms and conditions. But for now, let’s take a look at a few of our favorite entries from around the world so far!
