Abandoned 1929 School Building Transformed Into 31-Apartment Residence While Keeping Historical Look

While homelessness is a prevalent issue, we still see so many abandoned buildings that could be used to house people. So three people from real-estate backgrounds, got together to take a derelict old school building from 1929 and breathed new life into it. They converted it into a residence housing 31 apartments instead.

The 34-year-old real estate agent was not sure what he would make out of the building when he bought it for $100k in 2019

The challenge took the three men 3 years to complete, but they persevered in the endeavour to take a stand and to “stop demolishing old buildings.” Hence their interest in this particular passion project, a transformation that still pays homage to its historical significance, the outcome of which is inspiring, to say the least.

After considering various ideas, the two men came to the agreement to turn the building into a residential house

While she enjoys fictional books and stories just as much, since childhood she was especially fascinated by encyclopaedias and strangely enough, self-help books. As a kid, she spent most of her time consuming as much knowledge as she could get her hands on and could always be found at the library. Now, she still enjoys finding out about all the amazing things that surround us in our day-to-day lives and is blessed to be able to write about them to share with the whole world as a profession.
