35 Wholesome Animal Photos That May Make You Want A Career As A Veterinarian
As a long-term pet owner, one thing I’ve come to accept over time is that animals have different personalities. For example, I had two Cocker Spaniel sisters who looked exactly alike. But while one was extremely happy, daring and a bit of a tomboy who preferred haphazardly running around at excessive speeds, the other was a pretty princess who just liked pets, cuddles and sitting on a human’s lap from her very first days. Vet visits were also distinctly different, as the happy-go-lucky one was forever excited to go out and see all the sights and smell all the smells, whereas the pretty princess acted like she was being taken to her very own torture room during every single visit.
While Ms Happy-go-lucky got all hyped by the attention and never flinched from a single vaccine, Pretty Princess would growl and snap in an unusual fashion amidst bouts of yowling as though her teeth were being pulled out one by one. Indeed, the vet’s office can be a place of mixed emotions for pets, and we’ve compiled a hilarious list that animal lovers will appreciate of all the funniest moments people have shared of their pets at the vet’s. Scroll below to check out the various reactions from different furry friends, ranging from cute and wholesome to sweet and funny, which may make you yearn for a career of getting paid to work with animals, too, because what can be better than being paid to spend 40 hours a week in the company of these beloved delights.

#26 Responsibility Is Something I Take Very Seriously. I Never Underestimate The Huge Amount Of Courage It Takes For An Owner To Hand Over Their Beloved Pet Into Our Care

Especially in emergencies, we often have no prior relationship with them because they have never been to us before. Regardless of how busy I am, I always take the time to listen to owners, reassure them that they did the right thing, that they are in the best place, and that I will do my best to take care of their pet as if it were my own. As a veterinarian, it is important that we take regular moments to acknowledge that it is a gift to be able to care for these pets in their time of need and a privilege to be trusted with their lives.

Shanilou has always loved reading and learning about the world we live in. While she enjoys fictional books and stories just as much, since childhood she was especially fascinated by encyclopaedias and strangely enough, self-help books. As a kid, she spent most of her time consuming as much knowledge as she could get her hands on and could always be found at the library. Now, she still enjoys finding out about all the amazing things that surround us in our day-to-day lives and is blessed to be able to write about them to share with the whole world as a profession.
