25 Reactions To The Impending US Supreme Court Decision To Overturn Abortion Rights

In 1973, the Supreme court ruled a Roe v. Wade landmark that legalized abortion across the United States and protected pregnant woman’s liberty to have an abortion. Yet, a draft opinion leaked on May 2, 2022, suggesting that the Supreme Court might be close to overturning the law that guaranteed women’s access to abortion.

When leaked information reached the public, people took to the internet to express anger and despair over the American court system, yet again disappointing its citizens, especially those most vulnerable. Senator Elizabeth Warren also took a stand and joined the protesting crowd outside the Supreme Court building. She delivered a fiery speech in defense of abortion rights.
