25 Of The Worst Building Designs By Architects
When designing a building, we seek professional help because we want a structure that is aesthetically pleasing and sound to boot. Most people pay good money for this service, so the last thing they expect is to be saddled with a disaster of a building.
Sadly, this is exactly what happened when some experimental architects were given free rein and ruined what could have been a magnificent tribute to their expertise. Instead, the results turned out to be severely disappointing to the point where folks felt forced to call out these terrible fails in public so others wouldn’t make the same mistakes in the future.

#24 Part of the brick ceiling was chipped away to make room for the stair railing. It’s so narrow that one must cling to the center of the spiral staircase to avoid brushing up against the brick as you go up or down. There’s a single light at the top, and no light switch for it downstairs.
