Natalya Lobanova is a London-based painter, animator, and illustrator who has been creating comics and drawings since 2010. Her comics often discuss the problems we face daily and the struggles we have to deal with that we’re sure many readers will relate to.
For this artist, comics are just a side project: “They are, however, the stuff people like best, because they’re the most relatable!” said Natalya in an interview with Bored Panda. She says her comics aren’t about her life specifically and she tries to focus on the feelings everyone experiences. “I deliberately avoid drawing myself in comics, which is why sometimes I resort to an amorphous blob-like person, as I see that as a sort of ‘anti-character,’” says the artist.
Natalya is a woman of few words and tries to put her point across with as little words as possible – and we think she’s great at it. Check out her comics in the gallery below!
