25 Hilarious War And Peas Comics With Unexpected Endings

“War and Peas” is an ongoing web comic by two artists from the German-French border town Saarbrücken. Their trademark is a hilarious unexpected ending which never fails to catch the viewer off guard.

Jonathan Kunz is a lecturer at the local art school and Elizabeth Pich works as a freelance comic artist. They have been making comics since 2011 and the two don’t seem to be running out of ideas. These four-panel strips are filled with dark humour as their characters face loneliness, hopeless inadequacy, and other problems.
