25+ Comics By Mariya Popandopulo That Every Awkward Person Will Relate To
Mariya Popandopulo is an illustrator better known in the comic society as Pinks&Roses. She says her illustrations are “black and white little girly sketches with a touch of pink”. The artist’s comics feature various awkward moments everyone can relate to.
Mariya says some of her comics are about her daily situations and others are inspired by the things she observes or hears: “The sole purpose of my drawing these comics is to spread a more lighthearted perspective on one’s own daily life.” To create her art, she uses a sketchbook and black ink liners and adds the pinks later in Photoshop. You might think pink is her favorite color but here’s a fun fact: “Nope! It’s yellow. I myself don’t know why it’s pink I am using,” says the artist.

One day, this guy just kind of figured - “I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?” - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that’s trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that’s too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!
