Have you ever tried to figure out cats? Not an easy task, as author Yasmine Surovec would tell you. She’s been documenting cat behaviour and putting it all in a hilarious comic book called Cat Versus Human . And even if it doesn’t get us any closer to figuring out how the cat brain works, we at least get to enjoy all the comical craziness they bring to their owner’s home.

Wondering where Yasmine got her inspiration to delve deeper into “cat logic”? “ I’ve had cats most of my life. I think they are such characters–each with a very unique personality. So a lot of the scenarios illustrated in my comics are definitely from my everyday experiences with cats (and cat people), “ the author explained to Floppy Cats . “I love how you have to earn a cat’s affection and trust. They just don’t easily surrender themselves to you. I respect that. “
