Happiness is the greatest mystery of humankind since love. Everyone seems to have a different idea of what it means to be happy, and what you need in your life to truly feel it. Some people spend most of their lives searching for it, while others are simply glad to be alive.
In 2011, the United Nations introduced a survey called the World Happiness Report, which they have conducted every year since then. It’s the first-ever study to use happiness as a measurement of international development, and it weighs factors such as GDP per capita, life expectancy, and social freedom in over 155 countries. The 2017 Report, published in February, listed Norway as the world’s happiest country.
Now we can’t offer you a full international survey, but we can share the findings of the guys over at Bored Panda , who have gathered the various comics from around the web which try to make sense of the whole happiness thing.
