10+ Best Bird Photos Of 2017 Are Here, And They’re Truly Incredible
Since as long as there were people, our species gazed at birds, envying that freedom only the skies could provide. Now people have joined birds in the skies, but that didn’t stop us from admiring its original pioneers. Enough so that the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) has started a yearly competition for the bird photographers, and we’re here to bring you the winners of 2017.
The competition has started back in 2015, and from the get-go, it received a ton of submissions from all around the world. BTO’s Chief Executive Andy Clements has commented on the goal of the whole competition, which is “to celebrate the artistry of bird photography and aid conservation by supporting the valuable work carried out by the BTO.”
They encourage participation with a cash prize of £5,000 (~$6,500 USD) for the top entry and smaller sums or equipment to the others
You can also support the organization and enjoy these photos in their yearly photobook , which helps the BTO to carry out their bird conservation programs.
